Heather is teaching music and band classes at Redington Jr. High/ High School in Wasilla, AK as well as giving private vocal and instrument lessons. Several of her students have received honors and awards in Alaska and beyond, All Northwest, and performances at Carnegie Hall. She was continued to be a teacher and leader for the Sitka Jazz Week over the past several years (www.sitkajazz.org) and is helping plan for 2026. The "All My Life" Album Release party will take place at the end of Jazz Week 2026.

She has been able to play and sing with Christian Fabian, Bernard "Pretty" Purdie, Matt King, Cleave Guyton Jr., Dee Daniels, and several others.

Heather is also a singer-songwriter in the area of Worship/Gospel Music and has been singing or playing music for the past 30 years. She has an incredible ability to connect with the listener and pull them into the music with her.
​
She is enjoying taking advantage of music opportunities as they come up in her beautiful hometown of Sitka, across Alaska, and to the lower-48.
